Just some self-promotion this time. I was informed today that I was a Finalist in the Missouri Review’s Perkoff Prize in the non-fiction category for a lengthy essay on death and dying titled “Death: A Memoir.” It’s a fairly competitive contest by a respected university-based literary journal.
